EMBOSSED
The Embossed Series is a collection of intricately carved 6×6 tiles, with decorative designs inspired by folk art and traditional patternmaking. The varied contours of the lines add to the sense of depth as the glazes pool in the carved designs.
While beautiful when glazed in any one of our standard colors, you can also use our Polywash hand painting technique with this series, embedding a playful color accent into the pattern for a whole new look. (See below)

Polywash – PW1 Accent Colors
Two colors are used in the Polywash technique; an accent color which is applied into the carved line and an overglaze or top coat which covers the entire surface of the tile.
This palette shows the 16 accent colors available to choose from. You may use any Watercolor glaze for the overglaze, however, selecting a lighter option such as W1 (shown here) will show the details more clearly.
