WATERCOLORS by PRATT AND LARSON
Named so because of its deep, fluid clarity. On relief tile watercolor glazes flow and pool in the firing to create incomparable depth and beauty. A hand painted Waterway application on any of our relief tile adds even more. Watercolors have a crackled surface and come standard on rustic field tile. Watercolor glazes are recommended for light residential use only, not recommended for floors and counters.

The surface and edge of Portland field tile reveal the unique markings acquired through the handmade production process. Portland surface markings can appear either subtle or more pronounced, depending on the glaze you select. The Portland edge is crisp yet has an organic feel. Glazes break differently along this slightly rustic edge, creating a unique effect. SBN is not available in Portland Field.
Add variation, color depth and surface interest to any installation by incorporating any of our 8 unique textures onto your field tile. Textures will vary, depending on the glaze and color you choose. Using Watercolors will allow for more pooling and transparency, while using opaque, matte Craftsman glazes will create a subtle, overall textural surface. SBN is not available in Textured Field.
