PATCHWORK

PATCHWORK is a tile collection in small sizes (from 8″X8″ to 6″X6″) that Ceramica Sant’Agostino has created to decorate residential or commercial spaces, suitable for floors or walls, through graphic styles and colour combinations which recall, reinterpreting the tradition in a contemporary key, the so called Cementine. The graphic patterns of the Cementine, born in the first decades of the ‘900 in France, are still subdivided between “floral” and “geometric”, according to the two cultural trends that were then dominant: Liberty and Art Deco, developed between 1910 and the 1920s and the futurists, typical of the 1930s and 1940s. PATCHWORK is divided into five sections: PATCHWORK BLACK & WHITE, PATCHWORK CLASSIC, PATCHWORK COLORS, METROSIGNS (belonging to the METROCHIC and SET collections) and PICTART GRAPHIC (from the PICTART collection). Each of them feature different bases of colour and different decorative subjects; geometric graphics or floral patterns; essential or complex shapes; visual balances of full and empty graphics; single or multiple compositions. A program so rich and complete that it meets every aesthetic taste and every need for furniture, for spaces such as bathroom, kitchen, living areas and public spaces such as cafes, restaurants and shops.
