BRONZEWORK STUDIO – CLASSIC SERIES

As the world rushes by, we strive to design tiles that will be as appealing in a hundred years as they are today. The Classic collection best represents this vision.
Since we carved and cast our first bronze tile nearly two decades ago, we have believed that the best designs respect the essential nature of their raw materials. Bronze quietly reflects light, mellows and deepens over time, expresses physical and emotional gravity in its weight, and has a profound permanence. We saught to embody each of these attributes in the designs of the Classic collection.

PATINA
Bronze: Naturally mellows and darkens over time. This process is accelerated in wet locations.
Zinc: Naturally whitens over time when left untouched or used in wet locations. Darkens when walked on or handled. Applying a thin layer of paste wax 1-2 times a year will retard the patina process of bronze and zinc.

USAGE: Suitable for wall or floor use, in wet or dry locations, countertops, exterior walls and floors, pools, and fountains – varying levels of patina will develop on external and wet applications, depending on climate. Bronze can be lacquered to prevent the patina from developing. Patina on Zinc will whiten overtime.
